In everyday Turkish, “Incil” can refer either to the whole New Testament or specifically to the four Gospels. If the four Gospels are meant, most academic views place their writing roughly between AD 65 and 100. Mark is usually treated as the earliest Gospel, while John is commonly regarded by many scholars as the latest. Matthew and Luke are also often placed in the last third of the first century. Even so, these dates are not exact; different scholars allow a margin of several decades.

If the question refers to the entire New Testament, the earliest writings were most likely Paul’s letters. Some of them are commonly dated to the AD 50s. In that case, the formation of New Testament texts stretches from roughly the 50s to the end of the first century. This means the core texts of Christian faith were not written centuries after the events, but while the memory of the first Christian communities was still alive.

Church traditions and modern academic methods sometimes agree on dating and sometimes differ. For example, some traditional approaches date certain books earlier, while much of critical scholarship may suggest slightly later dates. That difference should be acknowledged honestly. Even so, the broad outline is clear: the New Testament texts were written in the first century, during the period when testimony about Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection was circulating within the earliest generations.

This does not mean the texts are free from all debate, but it does show that the historical distance is not as large as many assume. It is also important to remember that oral transmission was strong in the earliest Christian communities; the written texts emerged not in place of living testimony, but as its vehicle. So the question “When was the Gospel written?” is also a question about when the witness to Jesus was committed to writing. The broad answer is that this happened in the first century.
