Bible Verses About Wisdom

Bible verses about wisdom and sound judgment — trusting God, asking for understanding and choosing the right way. Read them directly.

Wisdom in the Bible is less about accumulating information than about living rightly and choosing well. The verses below deal with the source of wisdom and how it is sought.

• Proverbs 3:5-6 — Bütün yüreğinle RAB'be güven, kendi anlayışına dayanma.

How is wisdom sought?

James 1:5 says wisdom is received by asking; Proverbs 3:5-6 counsels trusting God rather than one's own understanding.
