In the beginning was the Word
The poetic opening of John's Gospel introduces Jesus as the eternal 'Word' who brings light into the world and becomes human.
Before the Noise
The thought that there was already a living Word before anything began can steady a crowded mind. It suggests that noise is not the deepest layer of reality. Deadlines, messages, and unfinished conversations feel loud, but they are not ultimate.
A small pause during an ordinary moment can reopen that perspective. While waiting at a red light or for the kettle to boil, silence can become more than emptiness; it can feel like a return to meaning, presence, and a calmer way to enter the day.
