A call to sincere return
A chapter calling the people to a sincere return — stressing that God desires faithfulness and true love more than ceremony and show.

Some days feel overcast inside. Nothing is obviously wrong, yet the soul carries the quiet tension of dry ground waiting for rain. This verse points to knowing God as an ongoing movement, not a finished achievement. Even when clarity is late, His nearness can be trusted with the same steadiness as morning light.
A simple way to live that today might be to pause for one minute before reaching for your phone. Notice the dryness instead of covering it. God often meets people gently, not with pressure, but like rain that reaches exactly where the ground has cracked.
