Some days feel like deep water and heat at once. This promise does not pretend hardship disappears; it offers something steadier: we are not abandoned inside it. The comfort is not an easier road, but a faithful presence that keeps us from being swept away.
That can meet us in very ordinary places, like a late-night worry, a hard call, or a bill that cannot wait. Endurance is not always dramatic. Sometimes it is simply the grace to take the next step, and to find that trouble passed through our lives without taking all of us with it.
