The power of love

A chapter exalting love as a bond that waters cannot quench and that is as strong as death — a love song whose poetic language speaks of faithfulness and the depth of devotion.

What Water Cannot Dim

Some pressures arrive all at once: workload, disappointment, silence, plain exhaustion. In those moments it is easy to assume that the bonds we value most will fade under strain. Yet real love is not a mood that survives only easy days. It keeps its weight even when life turns loud.

Sometimes this becomes visible in ordinary gestures: a table prepared after a long day, a brief note left in passing, careful attention in a rushed hour. Love shows its worth not by appearance, but by staying genuine. Many things can be bought or displayed; very little can truly take root in a human heart.
