Steady in the Quiet
Some days the hardest part is not pain itself, but watching unfairness seem efficient. When others appear to move ahead through shortcuts, the heart can become restless. This verse opens another way: not denial, not passivity, but a settled inner posture before God.
It may show up in a very ordinary moment, like staring at a screen and feeling comparison tighten its grip. A brief pause can become an act of trust. Waiting does not always mean doing nothing; sometimes it means refusing to let anxiety choose the pace of the soul.
