“The Lord is my shepherd”
The best-known psalm pictures God as a shepherd who guides and protects, offering trust and comfort in the darkest moments.
What Feels Missing
Some days life feels defined by what is lacking: time, energy, clarity, steadiness. This verse shifts that feeling without pretending every need disappears. Its comfort is not in having everything at once, but in not carrying yourself alone.
A simple place to notice this is in the middle of an ordinary busy day. When pressure starts to narrow the heart, trust can reopen a little inner space. The needs may still be real, yet they no longer have to rule the whole atmosphere within.
