A Quiet Refuge in Strain
Some days the heaviest pressure does not come from disaster but from small, steady strain: unfinished work, unanswered messages, the quiet ache of being treated unfairly. A normal-looking day can become an exhausting inner battle.
This verse points to a place of safety in the middle of that pressure. Not a way to disappear, but a place to recover. In ordinary life, that may look like one honest pause in a crowded day, letting your scattered thoughts settle before God. The situation may not change at once, but the ground under your heart can.
