Presence That Does Not Thin Out

Some days the heaviest strain is not actual lack but the uncertainty of what tomorrow may ask from us. We look for something solid in plans, numbers, or whatever we can keep under control. Yet the heart often settles in a different way: by remembering it is not abandoned in the middle of ordinary life.

That can become concrete in small moments like checking a balance, waiting for a reply, or quietly measuring whether the month will stretch far enough. Peace does not always arrive by changing the situation at once. Sometimes it begins with a steadier awareness that God has not stepped away.
